Beach Front 301 - REALLY great deals! Their Happy Hour food CAN’T BE BEAT! Their menu includes $1 to $5 foods which are equal to $5 to $10+ at other restaurants… Portions are perfect; food is well presented; and their Saturday/Sunday brunch (9am-1pm) is delicious! For $3.99 you get two eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon strips, hash browns or O’Brien Potatoes & toast.
Bodhi Tree Cafe -  a very fine restaurant overall,  but it is a great one for those vegans who are always looking for that ideal restaurant to go to.  I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to eat healthy!  Dave R

Coach's Mediterranean Grill - “Family owned and operated. Coach's serves the best, freshest Mediterranean style food in town. Anyone and everyone that lives in HB has to eat there (and most do), you will be hooked. It's a favorite of the HB Police Dept. as well and you will often see a table of HB's finest eating there. Children are very welcomed and Coach will go out of his way to make sure they something yummy to eat (our son LOVES the lentil soup with pita bread for dipping). We have been going there for years and Coach is now a very good friend our ours and takes time to sit and chat. Even when things are humming (which is most of the time). Really busy on weekends so you may have to put your name on a list, but it's worth the wait. Very friendly staff; GREAT food; front and back outdoor patios so you can breathe in the clean HB air!

Todai on Beach Blvd. is much better than the one in the Westminster Mall. HUGE variety of sushi, entrees & desserts. Fresh crab legs & shrimp - and if you walk away hungry, it's your own fault! Black Watch - “Pool tables are free, they have Guinness on draft and actually pour it properly. Jukebox with great selection. It's a Scottish/Irish themed hole in the wall that's always great fun.”  Ed M

Perqs - “We like to go there when we want a live music night. We usually take our chances and go without knowing who's performing and have not been disappointed yet. Our favorite is Blues-y rock and that's the place for it.” KN
Taco Surf -  "Great low key restaurant and bar. Live music Wednesday thru Saturday. Their Baja Tostada is awesome. Prices are reasonable, neighborhood style Bar, the local Cheers!" BvS

 

And the not so favorable:
Aloha Hawaiian BBQ - We were very disappointed with the food and the quantities. I wish I could say something positive, but the flavors of the foods just weren't tantalizing. We ate there once... It was enough! Joe R.
Corner Bakery -We were sadly disappointed with the quantity vs. the price. Although we don't have complaints about their food, we were a little put-off by the portions (small). Instead of an 'intimate' atmosphere as the name would imply, it's open, loud and "yuppyish" more than anything. Not bad for an office luncheon. Barb D.
Lampost Pizza - Overrated! Did NOT like the pizza - and the large sure was NOT worth the $35.00!!! Won't be going back there; especially when Zubie's has much better pizza and a better price by far!
